Paramount’s Scream franchise has been thrown into additional disarray with the departure of Scream 7 director Christopher Landon.
On Twitter, the director defined that he left the venture “weeks in the past,” and candidly referred to as it “a dream job that was a nightmare. And my coronary heart did break for everybody concerned. Everybody. However it’s time to maneuver on.” Landon, who beforehand helmed the Glad Demise Day duology and Freaky, was tapped to direct again in early August, taking up directorial duties from earlier helmers Radio Silence (aka Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett).
Scream 7 has been hit with controversy as 2023 has come to a detailed.
