Toby Haynes, who helmed episodes of Andor, will direct the movie from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith (It, Lego Batman). J.J. Abrams will as soon as once more produce, which is smart because the movie is set many years earlier than the occasions of his 2009 Star Trek movie.
Deadline broke the information, and whereas there aren’t any specifics on what the movie will entail, it’s described as an origin story. We already noticed the origins of all the principle characters in Abrams’ authentic, so we’re making the educated guess that Starfleet could be entrance and heart.
The movie comes at a time when Star Trek is prospering on TV with followers loving reveals like Unusual New Worlds, Picard, and Decrease Decks.
